The Greatest Few!

During any moment in life there will always been the greatest few and least abundant. As you journey through the normal ups and downs in life, business, careers and personal growth you will encounter a small percentage of people that will support you, cheer you on and pray for you. Then on the other hand you will encounter a large percentage of people that are fighting against your victory, speaking ill of your success and down right attempting to sabotage your every move.

How Do I Make My 2nd Dollar?

In the world of making money and surviving financial peaks and valleys, people must acclimate themselves to locating and activating additional monetary resource pools. Resource pools come in varying levels of financial return. Depending on your financial capabilities and financial climate you could be generating additional money that can compensate a whole other persons annual salary.

Making your first dollar, which is your primary income should be the money you use to operate and live from day to day. Making your second dollar, which is your secondary or supplemental income should be the money you use to evolve and grow your personal and professional life. Now I'll even go a step further. Making your third dollar, which is your tertiary or mass supplemental income should be the money you use to multiply your personal and professional life.

Often times people seek supplemental income to operate and live from day to day; and as you saw this role is that of the primary income. Supplemental income can come from several things. You can generate supplemental income from a second job, starting a home based business, investments, network marketing, business partnerships and alliances. You see the money is out there, you just need to go and get it!

Supplemental income is not only for the average working class individual. Secondary and Tertiary income generating has been evident in the wealthiest people and in the largest companies. To name a few; Donald Trump generates additional income from several avenues. Even though known as the Real Estate Mogul, he took is primary income and invested into the resource pool from casinos and TV production. Oprah Winfrey generates additional income from several avenues as well. Though she is known has the wealthiest philanthropist and producer; she's gained secondary and tertiary income from acting, producing and real estate. Tyler Perry one of the most recently emerged millionaires started out in playwrights and now has elevated to producer, director and author. Take note that the wealthiest people diversify their talents and their income to create strong currents in their resource pool.

Ultimately taking on the mindset of generating supplemental income is necessary in order to elevate in your personal and professional life. Spend time learning about additional ways to bring tangible money into your pocket. Whether you're a business owner or not, every one needs money to live. Opening the doors to the opportunities that lie before you can open your life to a whole new world!

One of the more tangible methods of generating additional money that has been on the rise is Network Marketing also known as Multi-Level Marketing. Here's the problem, some of these fly by night people created MLM's with a negative twist placing the stigma "Pyramid Scheme" to the powerful opportunities held in effective Network Marketing. The author Dan Failla of "The 45-Second Presentation" breaks down the definition of MLM the best by saying this, "Marketing simply means moving a product or service from the manufacturer or provider to the consumer. Multi-level refers to the system of compensation provided to those persons who are causing the product to move or the service to be provided. Multi means more than one. Level refers to what may better be termed as generation".

Now you see why all MLM's are not pyramid schemes. A pyramid scheme limits the room for growth at the top and very few benefit from building the company. In a pyramid scheme you're really doing someone elses dirty work while they try to keep their hands clean.The motivation behind this is the get rich quick mentality.

In legitimate Multi-level Marketing organizations there's an infinite opportunity for room at the top. Everyone benefits and the actual person who envisioned the opportunity, works just as hard even harder to make certain of it. There is no get rich quick formula and no hidden agendas. Legitimate MLM companies reach, teach & share. As an associate of an MLM you are your own business person building a team of more business people.Think, Organizational Wealth!

If you think about it, corporate businesses are MLM driven. Companies hire staff to recruit more staff and then bonus them for doing so. They also pay staff to bring their services or products to outside people that will pay for it. There is no difference, so why not get paid to do this over and over again?

There are three main ways in which any business or company moves products and services, that's either by:
Retailing - People purchase the product or service
Direct Sales - People are exposed to the product or service through a direct effort of another person
Network Marketing - Building relationships, Sharing information & Teaching others about the industry

Here are three "Knowledge Based Goals" you should consider before becoming an associate of any MLM
1st you must like the industry, product or service that you are considering
2nd you must understand the company. Go to trainings, research the company and assess to see if their morals and ethics line up with yours
3rd you must be willing to use the product or service you will be teaching others about. Don't be a surface marketer. Be a network marketer! Share & Teach.

Now once you've decided to be in the industry of your choice you must personally commit to Five Marketing Standards:
# 1 commit to position yourself to constantly learn more about your industry and the strides that your company is making
# 2 commit to being an effective teacher of the industry and opportunities with the company
# 3 commit to be a supportive upline and downline team member. Remember in network marketing or multi-level marketing it's about building relationships and making sure everyone is growing
# 4 commit to being the best of the best. Spread your wings, expand your territory, grow your business and share the information. Always remember "Why" you started network marketing.
# 5 commit to being honest and trustworthy. Maintain the integrity of your self, your company and your industry market. Don't be a member of the pyramid scheme behavior!

The company I'm personally affiliated with is one that provides electricity and gas to customers currently in Texas and Georgia. My reason for deciding to be a part of this organization was two fold. The visionary of the organization is humble and caring. He is reachable and he upholds his integrity to share and teach others to position themselves into making that 2nd Dollar. The other reason I've affiliated myself with this organization is because they offer options and opportunities to everyone. As a customer you benefit by lowering high home gas and electric bills and as an associate you benefit by helping others to lower their high energy bills and also by earning a substantial supplemental resource pool. No hidden or one sided agendas only organizational wealth. No get rich quick formulas. Only systematic implementations. I've done my three Knowledge Based Goals and have commited to my Five Marketing Standards.

10 Habits and Beliefs to Un-Learn

Breaking through constricting barriers has to first start with you. As we travel through this world and this life, we adapt habits, behaviors and beliefs that actually inhibit our ability to go forth as a conqueror. It is your innate God given ability to be victorious over your pursuit. Here are 10 myths that have structured your habits and beliefs you must Un-Learn in order to awaken the victorious mountain mover within. This is the time for you to Take Your Success By Force!

Myth 1: Problems are not good and should be avoided

Truth 1: Problems strengthen you and elevate you. Without a problem you would never have an opportunity to gain wisdom and experience. In my "Remove The Weakest Link workshop" I educate you on the principles of effective and efficient management of conflicts. Once you position your mindset to actually gain instead of loose in the midst of a stressful situation or problem, the transition from uncontrolled problem to controlled circumstance evolves.

Myth 2: If I'm not smiling then life is not good and I'm not happy

Truth 2: The feeling of happiness is not related to a situations or the act of smiling. Happiness is an inner joy and peace. In my book Get Grounded; Stay Grounded I address the balance of self-joy, self-worth and self-love in chapter 4

Myth 3:My past damages, pains and errors will always hold me down

Truth 3: Your past can only damage your future if you allow it to. "The 80/20 Theory" I educate on is simple and states 80% of people are waiting for and expecting you to fail. But 20 % of people are waiting for and expecting you to achieve and succeed. Channel your energy and focus on the greatest few because it is them that need you to be victorious

Myth 4: Achieving success means always working hard and not enjoying life or your accomplishments

Truth 4: Prepare to have fun achieving success. You will reach your desired point much quicker. Think of yourself playing your favorite arcade game; mine is Pac-Man or Woman. You work hard not to be eaten by the little goblin, the energy is high, your moving, your moving and then BAM! You get eaten. But yet, the game isn't over you still have more to do. So what do you do? You laugh and play again until you finish the course. Achieving success is no different.

Myth 5: If you tried something and didn't accomplish the goal then you've failed.

Truth 5: Success is ultimately derived out of many failed attempts converted into proficient execution. The key thing to remember is never attempting is failing and never planning is failing. In the Get Grounded; Stay Grounded book in chapter 3 prosperity and productivity is discussed in depth. Then Chapter 4 focuses on how to address and overcome the emotions of failure and giving up.

Myth 6: My decision to do or not to do something is based on what people say or think about me

Truth 6: Regardless of your decision good or bad, people will always find something negative to point out before pointing out the positive. So Live Life according to God and Not to man! I myself use to struggle with the crippling feeling of people bondage. Wanting to make sure everything I did and said was pleasing to everyone. I found out this is impossible. Learn to understand who you are, whose you are and what you've been positioned to do.

Myth 7: Your external appearance will always get you the best of the best

Truth 7: People with only external beauty are usually seen for what they can give and not for the value they're worth. People that have internal beauty are usually seen for their value and henceforth extended the deals and opportunities free of unfavorable agendas. Once you strengthen your internal beauty, your external beauty is inevitable. Just being looked at and never valued is not rewarding to the soul.

Myth 8: Money will make life perfect and free of stress and sadness

Truth 8: Yes, a lack of money always places stress on the lives of people that are in desperate need of help. If we explore this deeper we'll find 95% of people that suffer the "Lack of Money Syndrome" are those who have stretched their hands and pockets into expenses that were beyond their reach. Forcing them into a not enough state. What I'm addressing here is the concept that money becomes your basis for a perfect life. Even when money shows up in abundance, if your happiness was never built on the peace and joy of God you will still see every other imperfect area in the rest of your world. Money only numbs the pain and the reality, it can never fix it.

Myth 9: The idea of loosing something or someone is too frightening so I won't let go

Truth 9: Until you free yourself from the bondage of having to be attached to things and people, you'll live in fear for the rest of your life. The only thing to be bound to is God and his word. Once you bind yourself to the things of the world, your life will always ride the emotional roller coaster because when things are up, then you are up and when things are down, so are you. But God is always consistent!

Myth 10: Learning has an expiration age and time

Truth 10: Consistently increasing in knowledge and applying learned skills, intelligence and abilities will always give you a winning hand. Learning is integral to our mental well-being. "With all thy getting get understanding Proverbs 4:7". The moment you retire your committed drive to learn new things is the moment you consent to be stagnant.

Be M.O.R.E!

The concept of being more goes deeper than just what the eyes can see. Being more requires one to be committed to excelling and achieving. It requires one to go after what others are not willing to pursue. It requires one to be able to bounce back from a disappointment and muster up enough inner vigor and strength to get back on the horse. Being more isn't for everyone; it's for the unique individual that has looked through the lens of a visionary and hears through the ears of a prophet.
A visionary will see the impossible and a prophet will hear the unbelieveable.

To comprehend the true essence of what I'm referring to you will need to absolve yourself from every negative thought you hold and every negative word or recommendation you've been told. You will need to go within and retrieve the unshakeable, immovable conqueror you are destined to be. Replace the negative notions with a powerful phrase that resonates internally and externally. For every "I can't" say "I will!". For every "I'm afraid of" say "I fear no!". For every "I'm not equipped to" say " I am more than capable to!". For every "I'm shy" say "I am bold & confident!". Let the power of your words start from the inside and take root on the outside.

If you desire to return to school and obtain a specific degree then pursue it now. If you desire to strengthen your family and your marriage then be determined to achieve it now. If you desire to start a business or go to the next level in your business then capture it now. Proceed fearlessly & diligently.

Commit this day to Be M.O.R.E! Be Motivated. Be Optimistic. Be Resilient. Be Empowered. Be what you have been called to be and nothing less.

Paralyzed By Fear!

The road to your point of success isn't easy; however it is even more difficult when the emotions of fear are allowed to come into play. Fear is a paralyzing emotion that puts you in a position of stagnation. It becomes a heavy weight around your ankles and handcuffs tightly wrapped around your wrists. Fear stifles the brain from flowing freely.

Many people confuse fear with concern. Concern is the internal alarm bell that causes you to think clearly, seek information and make concise decisions. Fear does not do this. You can't think clearly because you are more focused on the "What ifs" that force you to say yes, say no or say nothing. It cripples you from being able to make effective decisions where you are forced into doing something or doing nothing.

Are you being Paralyzed by Fear? Have you been feeling like you're backed up against a wall and forced into concluding a decision that fits the particular time?
It's time to remove the weight around your ankles. It's time to use the key of courage to open those handcuffs from around your wrists. It's time to allow determination and creativity to freely flow through your brain.

Now is the time to refuse to allow False Emotions And Regression to stop you. Now is the time to refuse to be Paralyzed by Fear!

Journey Blockers to Walking in Your True Purpose.

How many times have you been asked about what your purpose is in life? How many times have you had a good answer? Even better, how many times have you given an answer that was full of fluff intended to appease the listener?
Your purpose first and foremost isn't to give other people an illusion or to walk in the shoes of or the path of others.

Your ultimate purpose is to successfully conquer and overtake what you're supposed to be pursuing! Walking in your purpose is truly about following the predestined path exclusively set out for you. You'll know when you're really walking in your purpose when every step you take evolves into a well mapped out journey where every street, highway and corner has your name ingrained on it. Walking in your purpose does not only pertain to those wanting to start a business. Your purpose could be to become a principle of a school or a general manager or an involved parent and the list goes on. Your purpose is whatever your heart desires with deep inner passion and drive. Your purpose is something that brings you total satisfaction and a sense of completeness.

So, are you really walking in your purpose? Do you have journey blockers on your path? Have you created a journey that has your name all over it? Are you dealing with a little traffic or complete roadblocks? Until you map out your journey, you will constantly encounter detours, roadblocks and flooded streets. Let's look at four things I call journey blockers to walking in your true purpose.

Detours: These things occur because you really never knew what your purpose was. Therefore it's easy for someone or something to come around and totally take you off of your path. These detours will cause you to doubt yourself and change courses very often. You go from pursuing a degree in medicine to pursing an engineering degree. You switch from pursuing your own business to pursuing the top managers position of someone elses company. Detours occur when you are unclear about your purposeful journey.

RoadBlocks: This happens because you are not ready to give your all to your purpose. In this instance anything can and will cause you to walk away from what you are supposed to be doing. You will start down the path, but you will not be willing to complete the full journey. You neglected to internalize what your purpose would require from you. Here is when you start something and stop it at the drop of a hat. You will register and start on your masters degree, but either a new baby or a new job will cause you to delay it, which really means to drop the course. RoadBlocks occur when you are not committed to your purposeful journey.

Flooded Streets: This is the most disheartening journey blocker I have every seen. These hinderances actually cause you to completely fade out the concept of a journey as if it never existed; leaving you confused and unwilling to go after anything else. As soon as something happens or someone says anything negative, you switch gears and totally ignore the path that you started on. It's so deeply moved from within that you don't even dream about it again. Flooded Streets occur when you are trying to take a path that was never intended for you. This is when you wear shoes that don't fit you or walk down paths that never had your name on it.

Traffic: Is the most common and expected journey blocker many people will face. Traffic on your path to your purpose is a temporary pause that allows you to restrategize and restructure what you're doing. During these traffic stops you gain knowledge, opportunities, resources and direction. The most accomplished people know how to willingly embrace then successfully conquer and overtake traffic. Traffic occurs only to those that know what their true purpose is and are committed to it. This is the defining moment where you either gain strength and momentum or you break down and lose your inner drive to go after what's rightfully yours.

The Journey Blockers to Walking in Your True Purpose will depend on whether you know what your purpose is or you are guessing about what your purpose is.

What's the point of Networking?

Networking is one of the most powerful and beneficial forms of growing your business and your circle of associates. However, it is the easiest and most frequent tool overlooked and underused for growth. Networking has been going on for centuries, we just have additional ways of doing it now. First, to appreciate networking you must understand networking.

Networking is a gathering and collaboration of like-minded individuals going after the same end product. It is designed to facilitate the exchange of and the establishment of mutually beneficial information and relationships. Networking and Relationships go hand in hand. You can't create and achieve one without the other.

Networking is not only for business related purposes. You can network on a non-business level as well. For example, a group of mothers or parents develop a networking group to establish relationships in order to create an internal babysitting or driving pool service. A group of women develop a network system to encourage one another. A group of college students develop a network system of experts in a subject and offer tutoring services. You see, networking is a goal oriented system.

Two of the highly ineffective networking behaviors and tactics that I have personally observed are poor communication and poor reciprocation.
In order for networking to be effective and beneficial you have to be willing to do four main things, regardless of business or non-business related purposes.

One: Be able to clearly inform others about your business or your intended goals.
- If you have a difficult time clearly expressing what it is that your business
does or what your intended goal is, you are not going to be able to develop a
strong networking system. You will be perceived as confused and
unorganized. The worst thing for you to create is an external perception that
you are not capable of making a decision.

Two: Have open ears and be willing to listen to what others are saying.
- When you speak you want and expect others to listen to you, right? Therefore,
returning the respect of doing the same should be standard etiquette that
comes as second nature for any person. When you choose not to listen to the
information being placed before you, it's considered taking the risk of
missing out on a valuable connection. Open your ears and listen to what
people are saying.

Three: Be willing to patron another business or participate in an event.
- Opening yourself to the possibility of utilizing a fellow entrepreneurs
service or participating in another persons event demonstrates support,
builds relationships and establishes camaraderie. This is three of the four
core elements to effective networking.

Four: Have a system in which you refer business to business and clients to business.
- This is one of the four external components to achieving successful growth.
Be readily available to tell someone else about a service, an event and a
business owner. You are not effectively networking if you are not referring!
Even when you are unable to use a service or participate in a persons event,
tell someone else. The recipient of your referral will remember it and will
usually reciprocate. I must enforce that unless you are in a mutual based
agreement where monetary exchange is expected, refer without personal agenda
or reciprocation expectation.

Now that you have been equipped with the basics of effective networking you know why it's important to network. The point is until you reach out, others won't reach back! I hope you can compartmentalize what this truly means. We all need a helping hand in this world, even those at the top of the mountain. The top CEO of a monster company reached out first and then someone reached back to pull them up. The student that is trying to successfully pass a difficult class has to reach out so that someone can reach back and pull them up to the next level. Now, do you see what I mean by "Until you reach out, others won't reach back"?

The True Strength of an Entrepreneur

What does it take to be an Entrepreneur? How do you know that you've made the right decision to start your own business? When do you take your vision and turn it into reality? Being an Entrepreneur takes hard work, diligence, sacrifices and an over-abundance of determination. Assuming the title and role of an Entrepreneur takes more than deciding to start a business, putting up a website and telling a few people that you are about to do something.


First you have to be able to envision what you are setting out to do. You have to have a plan and an outline for what you are seeking to achieve. If you don't know what your intended purpose is then how can you reach out to anyone else?


Second, you have to be able to wear several hats at the same time. As an emerging or existing Entrepreneur it is your responsibility to understand each area of your business even if you begin to outsource certain aspects of the business or hire staff to fulfill a role. The moment you start to be unaware of how a particular area of your business works is the moment you begin to giveaway the success potential and growth of your business.


Third, a successful Entrepreneur constantly seeks to gain more knowledge and usually encircles themselves with knowledgeable people or like minded individuals. If you desire to have a successful IT business then you can't encircle yourself with only electricians and construction workers. The same holds true for those seeking to reach that Millionaire status. Hanging around impoverished minded individuals is not going to take you anywhere near your desired status.

Poverty is a mindset! It's not a way of life. It's the way you think about your life. Change your mindset!


The fourth thing that will increase your strength as an Entrepreneur is to be willing to sacrifice somethings, tactile the challenges and get the bull's eye focus on your destiny.

Take these four principles and apply them into your life as an Entrepreneur and watch your strength grow.
